We present a class of maximally entangled states generated bya high-dimensional generalisation of thecnotgate. The advantage of ourconstructive approach is the simple algebraic structure of both entangling op-erator and resulting entangled states. In order to show that the method canbe applied to any dimension, we introduce new sufficient conditions for globaland maximal entanglement with respect to Meyer and Wallach’s measure.
