RIFLESSI POSTURALI NEGLI ARTERIOPATICI:STUDIO CON LA VELOCIMETRIA DOPPLER.

The paper reports on the study of postural reflex by Doppler velocimetry in a series of 28 patients suffering from obliterating arterìopathy of the lower Iìmbs, before and after direct revascularization surgery. The patients, whose vascular lesions were accurately demonstrated by the Doppler system and angìography, were grouped according to the 4 Lerìche- Fontaìne stages. The examinatìons performed revealed significant ìmprovement in postural reflexes in the two days following the surgical operation even in some stage IV patients (no reflexes before surgical treatment).
