Abstract
In our report, placement of the stent resolved a com- plex clinical situation, with long-term success. Stent insertion resolved the colorectal obstruction, allowing complete radiochemotherapy, which brought to elective surgery three patients with ovarian cancer and three patients with colorectal cancer. For patients with extended ovarian cancer invading the left colon and rec- tum, endoscopic stent placement can serve as a bridge to surgery or as definitive treatment if surgery is not considered initially advisablFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
