The time-domain Green’s function of a planar conductive thin screen excited by an electric-line source is derived in a simple closed form, which allows for greatly simplifying the electromagnetic analysis of transient sources. In particular, it allows for easily discussing several definitions of time-domain shielding effectiveness of conductive screens, recently introduced in the literature. Comparisons with results obtained numerically through a canonical double inverse Fourier transform are provided and discussed.

Abstract
The time-domain Green’s function of a planar conductive thin screen excited by an electric-line source is derived in a simple closed form, which allows for greatly simplifying the electromagnetic analysis of transient sources. In particular, it allows for easily discussing several definitions of time-domain shielding effectiveness of conductive screens, recently introduced in the literature. Comparisons with results obtained numerically through a canonical double inverse Fourier transform are provided and discussed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
