To date, leadership models that specifically indicate dimensions investigating how the leader includes and manages emotions in his/her leadership action are still scarce. Hence, the present study aims at: (a) proposing a new leadership model based on holistic emotional contagion (Leader Awareness of Holistic Contagion –LAHC) and validating the related scale (LAHCS); (b) examining the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the transformational, transactional, Leader Member Exchange-LMX, authentic, and servant leadership scales; and (c) studying the relationship between the LACH model and other widespread leadership approaches (i.e., transformational, transactional, LMX, authentic, servant, leader group prototypicality).

Abstract
