Communication Science meets the Italian University System in 1992, with the activation of the first courses of Bachelor in 5 Italian Public Universities, but it has to abide until 2001 for the birth of the first Faculty of Sciences of the Communication, established at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. From then, the educational offer has become richer and with more opportunities, in accordance with the University Reform “3+2”. The courses are highly specialized in various applied fields , in an attempt to conjugate practice and theoretical knowledge and in compliance to innovative and competitive requirements on the labour market. The challenge is met, according to available data collected and analyzed by Unimonitor, concerning the placement of students graduated in Communication. It can be said that Italian young graduates meet efficiently the job market test. Professional integration happens through working experiences in the various fields of the Communication. Abstract
