In this study we try to stress the reliability of laryngeal stroboscopy in the early detection of neoplasms of vocal chords, trough comparison of preoperative stroboscopic data and histologic examination in a group of 42 patients affected by laryngeal keratosis. The most interesting data are the complete correlation between the impaired mucosal wave and the histological confirmation of invasive cancer.
