The project of the new UA1 uranium-TMP calorimeter is shortly presented. The construction of calorimeter modules is described. Results from tests of the first full size prototype are reported. Measurements of the response and resolution for electrons and hadrons have been done. The ratio e/h is near to one. © 1990.
