The lead(II)-diphosphate system has been studied at 25°C and in 3.00M Na(ClO4) as ionic medium, by measuring the electromotive force of galvanic cells containing glass and lead amalgam electrodes. The experimental data obtained have been explained by assuming the formation of species PbH3P2O7 (log B1,3,1 = 15.60 +_ 0.07) and PbH2P2O7 (log B1,2,1 = 14.70 +_0.02). Protonation constants of diphosphate, not known in the experimental conditions studied, have been determined as well.

Abstract
The lead(II)-diphosphate system has been studied at 25°C and in 3.00M Na(ClO4) as ionic medium, by measuring the electromotive force of galvanic cells containing glass and lead amalgam electrodes. The experimental data obtained have been explained by assuming the formation of species PbH3P2O7 (log B1,3,1 = 15.60 +_ 0.07) and PbH2P2O7 (log B1,2,1 = 14.70 +_0.02). Protonation constants of diphosphate, not known in the experimental conditions studied, have been determined as well.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
