A hydrogen peroxide electrochemical sensor, coupled with two enzymes (ß -galactosidase and glucose oxidase) immobilized on the surface of the sensor covered with a cellulose acetate dialysis membrane (cut off 100), is proposed for the analysis of lactose in raw milk. The resulting hydrogen peroxide formation is measured with a platinum electrode polarized at +650 mV versus Ag/AgCl. The procedure developed is very simple and the short response time permits its use in assaying milk samples on dairy farms.

Abstract
A hydrogen peroxide electrochemical sensor, coupled with two enzymes (ß -galactosidase and glucose oxidase) immobilized on the surface of the sensor covered with a cellulose acetate dialysis membrane (cut off 100), is proposed for the analysis of lactose in raw milk. The resulting hydrogen peroxide formation is measured with a platinum electrode polarized at +650 mV versus Ag/AgCl. The procedure developed is very simple and the short response time permits its use in assaying milk samples on dairy farms.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
