A 62-year-old woman, treated for a locally advanced breast cancer (St. III A) of the left breast by radical mastectomy and postoperative regional radiotherapy, five months after the diagnosis of the first neoplasia, showed and inflammatory breast cancer (St. III B) of the contralateral breast, successively treated by chemotherapy. The occurrence, in the same patient, of two synchronous primary breast cancers, both advanced at the time of diagnosis, is an uncommon event.

Abstract
