The complex formation beween asparagine and cobalt(II), iron(II), nickel(II), calcium(II) and magnesium(II) is investigated at 25 degrees C and in 1.00 M NaCl as ionic medium. For this purpose the electromotive force of a galvanic cell by using the glass electrode was measured in a wide concentration range of reagents. Experimental data were explained by assuming the presence of CoL, CoL(2), FeL, FeL(2), NIL, NiL(2), CaL and MgL with the relative stability constants. The results were compared with those previously found for glycine with the same cations.

Abstract
The complex formation beween asparagine and cobalt(II), iron(II), nickel(II), calcium(II) and magnesium(II) is investigated at 25 degrees C and in 1.00 M NaCl as ionic medium. For this purpose the electromotive force of a galvanic cell by using the glass electrode was measured in a wide concentration range of reagents. Experimental data were explained by assuming the presence of CoL, CoL(2), FeL, FeL(2), NIL, NiL(2), CaL and MgL with the relative stability constants. The results were compared with those previously found for glycine with the same cations.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
