Whereas calcineurin inhibitors are usually the first choice for immunosuppression, cases of tacrolimus-induced reversible heart failure have been rarely described. To add to the existing limited literature and to help clinicians, we report 2 cases of patients who developed a dilated hypokinetic cardiomyopathy early after initiating this form of immunosuppression.

Abstract
Whereas calcineurin inhibitors are usually the first choice for immunosuppression, cases of tacrolimus-induced reversible heart failure have been rarely described. To add to the existing limited literature and to help clinicians, we report 2 cases of patients who developed a dilated hypokinetic cardiomyopathy early after initiating this form of immunosuppression.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
