According to the finance report management of 2017 presented by the Court of Auditors to the Italian Parliament, there is an increase for the costs related to healthcare companies. The exponential increase of the medical claims, for real or unreal damage to patient caused by real or unreal healthcare structures or medical doctors’ responsibilities represents an economic loss not only in Italy but also in European Countries that have the same degree of socio-economic development. The strategies for the reduction of Claims management’s costs for Medical Malpractice are represented by an appropriate use of structural, technological and organisational resources of the healthcare system: it could help to predict the establishment of medical claims, preventing excessive economic losses and predicting also the outcome of the eventual law process.
