My research interests focus on AI techniques in the field of Smart Farming: an innovative approach applied to the primary sector which exploits different technologies to improve working conditions, yield, production quality, and sustainability of crops. The central concept of precision agriculture is to operate only when and where it is needed, and this can only be done if a large quantity of data is integrated, processed, and interpreted. To achieve one of the previously mentioned goals, a Machine Learning approach to estimate vineyard yield is described in the following.
