The exact mechanisms through which it leads to increased clotting are not yet fully understood but may involve inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, and a hyperactive immune response. In the present report, we describe a case of acute aortic stent graft thrombosis four days after the resolution of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The patient required emergent explantation of the stent graft after the failure of endovascular bailout procedures
