The undifferentiated spermatogonia (undiff-SPG) are the most primitive class of spermatogonia that include spermatogonial stem cells and progenitors (1). In primate, undiff-SPG express different protein markers and several subpopulations have been identified both at mRNA and protein level (2). However, the distribution of the undiff-SPG subsets during the cycle of the seminiferous epithelium and their relative position along the basal membrane with the respect of the interstitial tissue, is not known at the present.

Abstract
The undifferentiated spermatogonia (undiff-SPG) are the most primitive class of spermatogonia that include spermatogonial stem cells and progenitors (1). In primate, undiff-SPG express different protein markers and several subpopulations have been identified both at mRNA and protein level (2). However, the distribution of the undiff-SPG subsets during the cycle of the seminiferous epithelium and their relative position along the basal membrane with the respect of the interstitial tissue, is not known at the present.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
