The aim of this study is to compare the primary stability and the marginal bone loss (MBL) of fixed mandibular full-arch restorations supported by two different fully tapered dental implant systems. A non- inferiority RCT was conducted treating fully edentulous mandibles with 6 implants. Mean MBL levels at the 1 year assessment were 0.47 ± 0.03 mm vs 0.68 ± 0.07 mm in the BLX and NA groups, respectively (p<0.001). ISQ values were similar among the two groups after 1 year, with no statistically significant differences.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to compare the primary stability and the marginal bone loss (MBL) of fixed mandibular full-arch restorations supported by two different fully tapered dental implant systems. A non- inferiority RCT was conducted treating fully edentulous mandibles with 6 implants. Mean MBL levels at the 1 year assessment were 0.47 ± 0.03 mm vs 0.68 ± 0.07 mm in the BLX and NA groups, respectively (p<0.001). ISQ values were similar among the two groups after 1 year, with no statistically significant differences.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
