Aldo Moro’s kidnapping and assassination – carried out by the Red Brigades – represent one of the most important ruptures in recent Italian history. In the United Kingdom, as indeed in the Western world and behind the Iron curtain, these events were closely followed. This essay, going over “Moro Case” events, analyses and problematizes British views of them, mostly based on a firm position. Sources used are archival and journalistic ones.
