The article focuses on the relationship between Innovative Didactics and the Third Mission, two central missions offered by universities in recent years. These two aspects require simultaneous management to systemically contribute to the evolution of the university system. This paper presents the first results of an exploratory research involving university teachers trained to carry out innovative didactics in five mega-universities in Italy. It is the first phase of a wider project focused on developing a virtuous circuit across the three university missions.
