Dual-antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) after percutaneouscoronary intervention (PCI) reduces ischaemic events but increases bleeding risk, which in turn is associated with critical adverse events.1–3 Assessment of the PRECISE-DAPT (Predicting Bleeding Complications in Patients Undergoing Stent Implantation and Subsequent Dual Anti Platelet Therapy)4 is currently recommended to predict long-term bleeding risk in PCI on DAPT.5 We hypothesized that the PRECISEDAPT score, which is calculated using baseline risk factors, does not remain static, as its determinants, that is, creatinine clearance, haemoglobin, whiteblood- cell count, might vary with time.
