Abstract

The sense of treasure has changed according to the interdiscourse of writers makers of spiritual and intellectual values which are capitalizable but not consumable: by opposing the nineteenth century middle class hypertrophy, Bertrand forces the formal limits, chiselling the prototype of a new genre, whereas Villiers modalizes the destiny of his characters according to will imposing the richness and the cruelty of his language. After the Glorious Thirty Years, subdued to the evaluation criteria of mankind, El Driss portraits exclusion through quantitative participation and Houellebecq follows the awareness of his male characters facing the last passion impulses and the destructurization of global economy. By treasuring the epigraphs they have created their polyphonic counter-discourse in front of History.
