A shock fitting technique has been developed and implemented to study nozzle flow transients. A detailed analysis of the flow evolution has been carried out, in order to obtain some insights in the understanding of the fundamental phenomena driving the transient of the shock propagation in nozzle flows. The role of the pressure ratio has been analyzed, by comparing results obtained with different values, that provide different classes of flow structures.

Abstract
A shock fitting technique has been developed and implemented to study nozzle flow transients. A detailed analysis of the flow evolution has been carried out, in order to obtain some insights in the understanding of the fundamental phenomena driving the transient of the shock propagation in nozzle flows. The role of the pressure ratio has been analyzed, by comparing results obtained with different values, that provide different classes of flow structures.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
