A novel observer-based fault accommodation technique for linear multi-input multi-output sampled-data systems affected by a general class of actuator faults in the presence of quantization errors is addressed in the paper. Only the output signal has been assumed to be available for direct measurement. A simulation study on a three-tank system supports theoretical developments.
