This study investigated technoference’s phenomenon (McDaniel&Coyne, 2016), which regards interferences in individual lives by technological devices. The aim of study analyzed marital satisfaction and attachment, satisfaction and the scale of investment model, mediated by the use/abuse of technological devices. The study involved 46 couples between 18 and 55 years (M = 35.86 yrs, ds = 9.81) cohabiting for at least six months. Results showed that there is a positive correlation between avoidant attachment and the intrusiveness of the technology. Results are consistent with the hypothesis that technology could lead to relational difficulties.
