A new cyrtocrinid is described from the Dogger of the Central Apennines. It is named Crataegocrinus tonielli, and it is included in the suborder Cyrtocrinina Sieverts-Doreck, 1952, family incertae sedis. Scarcity of material, only three cups, presents us to establish a new family.
