In the art of Bill Viola plays an essential role the slow-motion, able to load the image with dialectical tension between mobility of video support, and immobility to which it tends. This causes to the viewer the opening of authentic time which is reflected by his boredom in the Heideggerian sense, and the stimulation of what Deleuze called 'affection' and 'affect'.
