El agua y el paisaje urbano en Roma entre los siglos XVI y XIX. The water and the urban landscape between centuries XVI and XIX

The contribution collects the results of a university research published in the book Martone, 2015 which investigates the interaction between water and cultural heritage through the reading of some emblematic architectural, urban and territorial episodes, ie the aqueducts and fountains built in Rome between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. The posters presented illustrate the main phases of the research highlighting the contribution of cartographic and archival sources and iconographic views in documenting the transformations of the urban landscape of the city of Rome linked to water.

Il contributo raccoglie gli esiti di una ricerca universitaria pubblicata nel volume Martone, 2015 che indaga l'interazione tra l’acqua e il patrimonio culturale attraverso la lettura di alcuni episodi architettonici, urbani e territoriali emblematici ossia gli acquedotti e le fontane costruiti a Roma tra il XVI e il XIX secolo. Nei poster presentati sono illustrate le fasi principali della ricerca evidenziando l’apporto delle fonti cartografiche e archivistiche e delle vedute iconografiche nel documentare le trasformazioni del paesaggio urbano della città di Roma legato all’acqua .
