For the first issue of Annuario della Regia Scuola Superiore di Agrariain Portici he wrote a paper concerning with the way to make such wooden models. Every one is made up by a young stem split in threeparts then fixed on a small board, showing three different typical timber cuts: cross, tangential and radial ones.
