The work aims to investigate what can be the possible perspectives with the use of algorithms and digital tools in creative architecture, specifically in the process of design and shape control. Moreover, shapes are determined by size and, therefore, by numbers that, accordingly, govern all art forms, including architecture. There is always a relationship between architecture and mathematics, both in conception and transcription. The observation of nature has brought man to question the processes and the organization of nature, taking in its mathematical structure for inspiration and to create works with the same harmonic principles. Today there emerges new and deeper links between mathematics and design, in a contradictory scenario that sees the transformation of architecture as a physical element immersed in a flow of information. A process is taking place whereby mathematics, understood as generating forms, appears as a new genetic code for architecture.

Abstract
