Abstract
Networks based on chitosan, scleroglucan, and gellan have been synthesized. With chitosan, crosslinking reactions (reductive alkylations) were performed using the polyaldehydes derived from β-cyclodextrin and scleroglucan. A novel procedure ("template crosslinking") has lead to networks resulting from the template polymn. and concomitant reticulation (bis-acrylamide) of acrylic acid onto chitosan in aq. media. Aq. gellan has been self-reticulated and co-reticulated with poly(acrylic acid) using carbodiimides. Properties of the various products are traced to their peculiar chem. and phys. structures.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
