Girolamo Bertos, Giovan Francesco Buonamici e Domenico Barbiani. La cappella della Beata Vergine del Ss. Rosario nel San Domenico di Ravenna

At the end of the 17th century, the construction of the church of San Domenico in Ravenna began on the project of Giovanni Battista Contini (1642-1723). Among the various chapels, one of the most important was the one dedicated to the Virgin of the SS. Rosary. At the beginning, the drawing of his altar was entrusted to the Friulian Girolamo Bertos, who was subsequently replaced by Giovanni Francesco Buonamici (1692-1759). The factory lasted for several years and, only after the middle of the century, was renewed by Domenico Barbiani (1714-1777).
