This article reports the first results of a survey conducted on Lazio’s universities to understand the functioning of the Orientation and Placement Services of the University and to identify the best practices really exportable from one territory to another. At methodological level, a quality analysis was carried out through in-depth interviews aimed at operators and managers of the University Orientation and Placement Services. The functioning of the services in terms of: tasks performed by operators and managers, liaison with business matching between labour supply and demand, type of contracts offered, were all analysed. To identify the best practices, we have monitored the services offered by the different universities by comparing them with the quality standards set by Italy Jobs. It was discovered how the universities of the Lazio can offer both curricular and extra-curricular internships for graduates and, in a much less way, labour brokerage. Differences between public and private universities were noticed which highlight how critical points for one become strengths for the other. Above all a map of exportable interventions from one university to another was rebuilt.
Il presente articolo riporta i primi risultati di un’indagine svolta sulle università laziali per capire il funzionamento dei Servizi di Orientamento e Placement delle Università e individuare le best practice realmente esportabili da un territorio all’altro. A livello metodologico si è proceduto con un’analisi qualitativa mediante interviste in profondità rivolte ad operatori e dirigenti dei servizi di Orientamento e Placement dell’Università. Si è analizzato il loro funzionamento nei termini di: compiti svolti dagli operatori e dai dirigenti, collegamento con le imprese, matching tra offerta e domanda di lavoro, tipologia di contratti offerti. Per l’individuazione delle best practice si sono monitorati i servizi offerti dalle diverse università mettendoli a confronto con gli standard di qualità indicati da Italia Lavoro. E’ emerso come le università del Lazio riescono a fare orientamento e offerta di tirocini curriculari ed extra-curriculari ai laureati e molto meno intermediazione di manodopera. Si riscontrano delle differenze tra università pubbliche e private che evidenziano come punti vissuti come critici per le une diventano punti di forza per le altre. E soprattutto si è ricostruita una mappa di interventi esportabili da un’università all’altra.
