This paper deals with the topic of rap in Syrian Arabic. In this work there will be taken into consideration some texts of the Syrian rapper from Tartus (Ṭarṭūs), Abu Hajar (Abū Ḥaǧar), whose songs transliterated and translated and are object of linguistic study for what concerns phonology, verbal and nominal morphology.

Abstract
