A questionnaire submitted to teachers and instructors of CPR showed a large adhesion to the main principles of innovative medical education. However, the application of such principles to the course was judged satisfactory only in paart, and in part appeared to require further effor. This refers, in particular, to the training of practical skills in both basic and clinical sciences and to the development of an autonomous sudents' thinking. Consequently, despite the positive results of semester student evaluations in 1995 and 1996, the structure of CPR has been partially modified. the questionnaire also provided some suggestions for the future.

Abstract
