Studies in the field of Power Quality have become increasingly important in recent years. The Power Quality is defined as "characteristic of electricity at a given point of an electrical system, evaluated against a series of technical parameters of reference", and more in particular of the "concept of power and isolation of a susceptible device, in a manner appropriate to the operation of the device". International standards establish the limits of the main disturbances that can compromise the quality of electricity. In this article we present the results obtained by our team. The project is related to the development of a sensors’ network for the measurement of Power Quality (with the ability to connect it both wirelessly and by wiring), for the analysis of a low-voltage grid. Especially in this first phase of the project basic parameters are detected and an algorithm will be implemented for finding the direction of an event of 'sag'.

Abstract
