The construction industry, that even today does not have the impetus of mass production, except for building components, has all the tools for making products in a rational way from an economic point of view and efficient from an environmental point of view. Research in this field regards products throughout their entire cycle of production-usedisposal-recycling. The issue is how to identify and carry out choices that begin, beyond the technical requirements that the market imposes, with a more conscious design approach, that combines craftsmanship with industry in an ethic that leads to fabricating and inhabiting new architecture increasingly in accordance with the environment.

L’industria delle costruzioni, che pure oggi non ha l’impulso di una produzione seriale, se non per i componenti edilizi, ha tutti gli strumenti per realizzare prodotti in modo razionale dal punto di vista economico ed efficiente dal punto di vista ambientale; le ricerche in questo campo riguardano i prodotti nell’intero ciclo di produzione-esercizio-dismissione-riciclo. Il tema è come individuare e portare avanti scelte che partano, al di là dei presupposti tecnici che il mercato impone, da un approccio progettuale più consapevole, che integri produzione artigianale e industria in un’etica che porti a fabbricare e abitare nuove architetture sempre più conformi con l’ambiente.
