The essay analyzes the importance of language not only in the expression of legal topics but also in jurist's reasoning. The basic idea is that the spoken language is the same language in which people think, because language is an essential part of personal identity. Indeed, it is essential to ensure linguistic pluralism and the hypothesis in which the supremacy of one language over the others is established must be critized. In the lawyer's specific case, language is mostly considered for the clarity and the efficiency of legal communication. However, it is not inconceivable that sometimes obscurity, ambiguity and the uncertainty are intentional. Finally, it must be considered that is difficult to define a general "lawyer's language", because the lawyer's class is much differentiated.
