The ozone treatment of Nicotiana tabacum L., caused visible injury and increased peroxidase activity in the sensitive to 0 sub(3) Bel W sub(3), whereas UV-C induced these responses in both resistant Bel B and sensitive Bel W sub(3) cvs. The responses were observed both in vivo and in vitro. A morphological study also suggests that 0 sub(3) sensitivity is not related with plant anatomical characteristics.

Abstract
The ozone treatment of Nicotiana tabacum L., caused visible injury and increased peroxidase activity in the sensitive to 0 sub(3) Bel W sub(3), whereas UV-C induced these responses in both resistant Bel B and sensitive Bel W sub(3) cvs. The responses were observed both in vivo and in vitro. A morphological study also suggests that 0 sub(3) sensitivity is not related with plant anatomical characteristics.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
