The reconstruction of democracy in Italy after the Second World War took place mainly at the hands of political parties. They were actors in the foreground and were organized according to the model of mass parties. But with the passing of time, these parties suffered a sort of degeneration, thus becoming a problem for Italian democracy. The article tries to explain the reasons and the causes of this degenerative process.
La ricostruzione della democrazia in Italia dopo la seconda guerra mondiale avvenne principalmente a opera dei partiti politici. Essi furono attori di primissimo piano ed erano organizzati secondo il modello dei partiti di massa. Ma con il passare del tempo, questi partiti subirono una sorta di degenerazione, divenendo così un problema per la democrazia italiana. L'articolo cerca di spiegare le ragioni e le cause di tale processo degenerativo.
