A new interdisciplinary research between ergonomics and pediatrics, named “Pediatric ergonomics”, oriented towards ergonomics content in children’s design has been applied to improve wellbeing at school. Some ergonomic indicators to study children’s representation of their preferred activity at school have been selected such as: type of activity, cold or warm colors, self and others representation, school furniture, didactic tools, proxemics among school-mates and teacher, sitting or standing position, position of the desks and relationship with tchildren. The design of 143 children (72 females, 71 males) attending second and fourth primary school have been studied taking gender and age differences into account. Main difference were studied using X2 test. Results show lack of ergonomics in children’s representation design that can be measured for preventive actions.
