This study focuses on a modern approach in disaster resilience, providing insight and a preliminary framework on three important modelling aspects: i. the system representation, including hazard modeling and the event time horizon, ii. the decision representation (with specific reference to political decisions), iii. the data collection, necessary for data-driven modelling. Considerations on the next steps towards an antifragile design are also made, with specific reference to urban settlements (cities, urban developments and structures).

Abstract
This study focuses on a modern approach in disaster resilience, providing insight and a preliminary framework on three important modelling aspects: i. the system representation, including hazard modeling and the event time horizon, ii. the decision representation (with specific reference to political decisions), iii. the data collection, necessary for data-driven modelling. Considerations on the next steps towards an antifragile design are also made, with specific reference to urban settlements (cities, urban developments and structures).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
