This work is about the analysis of measuring activities of own Sun shadow, only using the body tool. The attention is on the movements that the students make to solve the question, on the links they find or use to represent their own shadows, the Sun and their bodies standing (linear and angular measures). We investigate the paradox: a common measure system takes results not comparable with different people. On the contrary, a personal measure system gives results that you can compare.
