It is a wound that tears the heart out of this abused, caged, offended town. Only a few eternal seconds destroyed the history of L’Aquila and the inhabitants’ normal life. We continue to discuss the possibility of rebuilding L’Aquila where it was and as it was, whereas the historical center was transformed into a black hole where neglect and abandonment along with rain, snow and cold, continue to compromise the existence of its cultural heritage, while some futuristic projects go ahead and the promises of adoption have failed.
