Education for sustainability in University. Wxploratory survey on desiderata of italian teachers and students

Like the sustainability, the object of this paper, this research was made by an interdisciplinary study group on “Sustainability and University”, created in 2013 with the participation of two colleagues: one from the Department of Life Sciences, University of Parma, and another one from the Department of Human Sciences, University of Milano-Bicocca. This group decided to promote a research aimed to understand the state of education for sustainability in high education institutions, such as the University. Consequently, the ambitious aim of this project was to promote and to catalyse the engagement of these institutions in the debate on education for sustainability, in relation to their approaches to teaching, curriculum, policies (green campus, for instance), governance and to a broader engagement with community.
