Viaje por el mundo de los letraheridos. Roberto Bolaño y la salvación por la escritura

This essay outlines what kind of literature Bolaño wanted to create and which was his literary project, through the study of his characters, considered as beaten letraheridos. It will describe the adventures and the projects of the real visceralistas of Los detectives salvajes, and then it will focus the essay on the “risk literature” born from the total fusion between the writer and his art. After all this, this pages will try to explain the difference between the real and the false poet. During their search for true literature, the characters try to reach the complete separation from their predecessors and masters, and they create a sort of “literature of the orphans”. To succeed in all this, the characters begin a search for their masters which reaches its climax in the total dissolution not only of those who search but also of those who are searched. Este artículo busca esbozar qué tipo de literatura quería crear Bolaño y cuál era su proyecto literario, a través del análisis de sus personajes, considerados como letraheridos derrotados. Nos detendremos en las aventuras y los proyectos de los real visceralistas de Los detectives salvajes, para luego centrarnos en esa “literatura de riesgo” que nace de la fusión total entre el escritor y su arte. A través de la escritura, los letraheridos llegan a transformarse en valientes que renuncian a todo por dedicarse completamente al arte. De allí se establece la diferencia entre verdadero y falso poeta. En su búsqueda por la literatura auténtica, los personajes intentan llegar a la separación total de sus predecesores y maestros, dando lugar a una “literatura de la orfandad”. Para lograrlo, los protagonistas emprenden una búsqueda de sus maestros que culmina en la disolución total, tanto de los buscadores como de los buscados. Lo único que queda es, por lo tanto, la obra literaria.
