The paper analyses the methods and the safe management of the evacuation of an underground line in the event of a fire emergency. In particular it should be noted, on the basis of the temporal development of the fire and then reaching dangerous values of both temperature and the concentra-tion of toxic gases, as it appears important to know the maximum time required for users to reach, under normal conditions of safety protected areas. Analysis of evacuation times are calculated taking into account the crowding maximum supposed in the station and the speed in the various paths. Will be highlighted, in addition, as also for the problems of the evacuation are in support of the design, different calculation models specifically developed [1] that allow the simulation of pedestrian flows within large complex and public build-ings (stations, airports). Finally, some examples are given relative to the Rome subway.

Abstract
Finally, some examples are given relative to the Rome subway.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
