A correlation of brain calmodulin amino acid sequence with its tertiary structure is described. An autocorrelation function, generated from the amino acid sequence, showed a 4-fold quasi periodic pattern. The quasiperiodicity of the sequence appeared to generate pseudosymmetry in the tertiary structure.
