Introduction, Part II. Cultural elaborations of human-nature relations, medieval to modern times

The "Introduction, Part II" to the RSO volume (Supplemento n° 2) dedicated to "The human person and nature in classical and modern india describes and links together the various contributions that explore the complexities of human-nature relations in India from medieval to modern times in scholarly fields as different as literature, anthropology, political sciences and social history. Building on the analysis of selected literary texts and quoting passages from the mentioned contributions, It highlights a continuity in the cultural elaborations of human-nature relations from medieval times to colonial and contemporary India.
