The non metabolizable glucose analogue was used to characterize the transmembrane transport of hexose substrates in human seminal spermatozoa. In basal condition these cells took-up the sugar in a time- and concentration manner. The transport was greatly inhibited by trifluoroperazine and a sodium-depended deoxy glucose uptake, was noted.

Abstract
The non metabolizable glucose analogue was used to characterize the transmembrane transport of hexose substrates in human seminal spermatozoa. In basal condition these cells took-up the sugar in a time- and concentration manner. The transport was greatly inhibited by trifluoroperazine and a sodium-depended deoxy glucose uptake, was noted.File allegati a questo prodotto
